The Landscape in New Developments Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) seeks to ensure that landscaping must not be an afterthought to the planning process but fully integrated into the design stages, and that consideration is given to keeping landscaping features within developments, or incorporating new planting into new designs.
Adoption of the Landscape in New Developments SPD
The Landscape in New Developments SPD was adopted by South Cambridgeshire District Council in March 2010.
Public consultation on the draft SPD took place from 23 October to 4 December 2009.
