The Built and Natural Environment team have specialists with expertise, knowledge and experience in urban design, landscape, historic environment, sustainability, trees, ecology/biodiversity, and inclusive design.
We provide services to other public sector providers including local planning authorities that do not have these expertise inhouse and who may need these specialist skills to assess complex applications. We offer:
- design advisory services
- assessing preapp/planning applications
- landscape/townscape and visual impact assessments
- development of local planning policies
- production of design codes
- design charrettes, site tours and youth engagement service
