On 30 November 2016, South Cambridgeshire District Council submitted further proposed modifications to the Inspectors carrying out the examination of the Local Plan.
The further proposed modifications responded to additional issues that arose during the examination and as a result of changes in circumstances and relating to:
- policies for the proposed New Settlements of Waterbeach New Town and Bourn Airfield New Village
- proposed allocation of land south of Cambridge Biomedical Campus
- policies for Gypsies and Travellers
- monitoring the Greater Cambridge City Deal commitment to deliver 1,000 additional homes on rural exception sites
- policies for Delivering High Quality Homes and Promoting Successful Communities
- Strategic policies for the purposes of Neighbourhood Planning
On 13 January 2017 updates on Cambourne West and Bourn Airfield New Village were provided to the Inspectors.
The correspondence between the Councils and the Inspectors, documents outlining the further proposed modifications, and supporting documents are published in our document library.
