This pre-application is for advice on advertisement consent only.  

Fees 

All fees include 20% VAT  

Level 1: £142

Advertisement that is Relating to the business on the premises or Advance signs which are not situated on or visible from the site, directing the public to a business. This is written advice only and general advice if it needs advertisement consent, or advice on submitting it as advertisement consent and the recommendation that would be made by the planning officer. There are no consultations with this level.  

Level 2: £294

Advertisement that is Relating to the business on the premises or Advance signs which are not situated on or visible from the site, directing the public to a business. This is written advice only, consultations will be held with the relevant internal consultees and not any external consultees. General advice will be given if it needs advertisement consent, or advice on submitting it as advertisement consent and the recommendation that would be made by the planning officer.  

Level 3: £389

Where the application for advertisement is considered as any other advertisement under the advertisement regulations and would not fall under level 1 or 2. This is written advice only, a site visit will be conducted by the case officer, consultations will be held with the relevant internal consultees and not any external consultees. General advice will be given if it needs advertisement consent, or advice on submitting it as advertisement consent and the recommendation that would be made by the planning officer.  

Next steps

After you have submitted and paid for your request for pre-application advice, we will aim to acknowledge that we have received your application and tell you which case officer has been allocated to your case, within 5 workings days. 

We aim to provide a written response within 4 weeks of sending of your pre-application acknowledgement for Level 1 advice and within 6 weeks for other types of advice.
