Location: Cambourne/Cambridge City
We are looking for competent and innovative programme manager to join the Greater Cambridge Planning Service, a shared planning service between Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council.
We have nationally significant schemes ranging from regeneration to provide a new low carbon district on the edge of the city and a healthy new town at Northstowe, to meeting the planning needs of Europe’s most important biotechnology cluster in an area that has the fastest-growing city economy in the country.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the forward programming and planning performance tracking of a range of large-scale strategic developments such as new towns at Waterbeach and Northstowe, a new village at Bourn, major employment areas such as the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and award winning mixed use urban extension developments such as North West Cambridge.
The post holders will need to work closely with team members, elected members and stakeholders to develop and implement a tight and robust programme.

Reporting to the Strategic Sites Delivery Manager the successful candidate will lead on the development, coordination and delivery of the programme milestones, projects and iteration.
